For the last twenty years or so, Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) has been a great influence in my apologetics ministry from the perspective of who they seek to reach, how they approach questions and how they address the question as one created in the image and likeness of God.
I had the chance to meet Ravi back in the mid to late 90’s, as being a part of a team in the Capital District of NY for a series of meetings.
At that time, of meeting and sitting in meetings with Ravi speaking to us, I was hooked. He has become one of my distant mentors and heroes in the defense of the faith. In response to the question, “Is America Abandoning God?”, Ravi brings out the fact that the (not so) “new atheism is prevalent in the rising skepticism in this culture.

That is the heartbeat of my ministry as an evangelist and apologist.
Ravi Zacharias and Bob Ditmer have a great interview on this subject that I would like to share with you. Please be in prayer for the folks at RZIM and those other ministries that serve on the front lines to reach the culture with the truth of the Christian faith and the spending of the gospel. Here’s Ravi with Bob Ditmer to answer this question,
